In Japan any materials that have sex or sexual relations as their main theme or topic are referred to as ‘hentai’. Hentai simply means ‘sexually perverse’ when applied to mangas (comics), anime (animated cartoons) or videos. Japanese hentai comes in many forms and includes all sexes and age groups. Currently a type of hentai known as lolicon is growing in popularity in Japan.
Lolicon (or rorikon) is Japanese slag meaning a ‘Lolita complex’ or an obsession with pre pubescent girls. The term gets its meaning from Vladimir Nobokov’s 1955 book entitled ‘Lolita’, a story about a middle-aged man who becomes obsessed with his neighbors twelve year old daughter.
There are several online young hentai galleries present on websites that cater only to lolicon hentai. These sites contain many images of young girls that range in nature from teasing ecchi (soft porn) pictures, to extreme explicit sex scenes and some even have lolicon futanari (dickgirls). Lolicon, while gaining some popularity in Japan, is considered as child pornography in many countries outside of the country.
Not all young hentai galleries are full of lolicon imagery; some simply contain pictures of young looking teenage girls and boys in a variety of sexual positions. Others display doujinshi artist depictions of famous teenaged manga characters such as Sailor Moon, Naruto or even the American cartoon series Teen Titians.
Young hentai galleries can be found on both ‘pay for play’ and ‘free’ websites. The pay sites require a paid membership to access their extensive libraries, while the ‘free’ site are often no more than a series of links to various pay websites with limited access to downloadable galleries. There are a few legitimate free websites that are in the nature of forums where members provide direct links to downloadable young hentai content.
